Applying her knowledge of the planning and design process to skillfully guide project expectations, Lisa is able to facilitate meaningful communication and stakeholder engagement from concept through implementation. Lisa has been involved in a number of community-focused projects where identifying and distilling the needs and goals of residents was vital for stakeholder buy-in. Her thoughtful, tailored approach to engaging target audiences considers fresh opportunities and avenues that leverage both traditional methods and innovative applications.
As a communications strategist at P+A, Lisa brings knowledge and experience with neighborhood revitalization and community building through her work with the Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council and Urban Neighborhood Initiative (UNI) Vacant to Vibrant working groups. Recent notable work includes public outreach and internal team coordination for KC Water Services’ Keep Out the Rain KC program, which is one part of the City’s largest infrastructure investment, the Overflow Control Program; the City of Kansas City, Missouri Scattered Sites Guidebook for Infill Lot Improvement Strategies; and Environmental Management Commission Vacant Lot Task Force Report.

She graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. Degree in Mass Communications and Environmental Science, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for both the Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council and Heartland Conservation Alliance.
