Seeking communications coordinator for fast-paced team

P+A is seeking a dependable, self-motivated team player to join our growing team as a: Communications Coordinator.

You’re a good fit for our team if you have these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of prior relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work with a team and independently, to communicate your needs and respond to action items.
  • Operate as a highly motivated self starter. 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and problem solve.
  • Solid time management and organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must display professionalism, initiative and a desire to grow.

Bonus points:

  • Experience with social media platforms.
  • Digital media skills (photography, videography).

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support on multiple projects simultaneously with the team.
  • Prioritize responsibilities based on impact, timelines, workflow and client goals.
  • Develop and assist with communications plans, strategies and tools.
  • Assist with content creation to support print and digital communications efforts, from newsletters to website copy, and social media posts to press releases.
  • Document meeting minutes and contribute to reports. 
  • Assist with in person and online events (including sporadic nights and weekends.)
  • Client relationship management.
  • Actively utilize project management and time management applications.
