On Thursday, June 29, 2017 Parson+Associates facilitated a refresher training session for more than 50 members of the Keep Out the Rain team. Parson + Associates designed an atmosphere that allowed for all members of the Keep Out the Rain team to promote networking, cross-team collaboration and best practices/information sharing through small group discussions.

In a post-training survey, 95% of participants indicated that they were satisfied with the training and 93% indicated that the information they received at the training was valuable. Many participants also pointed to the small group discussions as being the key take-away from the event.

One participant stated: “The ideas shared between people/teams was the most helpful since there are few times that all the teams get together. It was nice to have this opportunity.”

The half-day training included participants from the three Design Professional teams: CH2M Hill, CDM Smith and Olsson & Associates, as well as their subcontractors: EAE, TREKK and SK Design Group. The group was made up of field crews, project managers, and the outreach team.

The Keep Out the Rain program currently holds a 97% customer satisfaction rating, a testament to the dedication and collaboration put in by all members of the team.
